Do you avoid taking your dog for walks?
Let's change that.
Imagine grabbing the leash excited to get outside with your dog, instead of bracing yourself for battle.
You get to relax because you're confident that both you and your dog can handle anything that comes your way.
Your dog is happy because they get a fun and enriching walk, leaving them satisfied and tired when you get home.
But right now your dog
Drags you down the street, like they're pulling a sled.
Lunges at every squirrel, dog, or leaf that goes by, making you feel like a watchdog on constant alert.
Refuses to move mid-walk, forcing you to be the one dragging them down the street.
You know things need to change
But you don't know where to start.
The good news:
You're not alone. Leash struggles are one of the most common frustrations dog parents have.
It can be fixed and I'm going to show you how - step by step.

What's Inside: The Details
Before we begin...
Leash Manners 101: An Introduction
Jumping in without knowing why we're here and where we are going is never a good idea.
To start us off, I have a 5 part lesson designed to get you ready for the weeks ahead.
Starting April 28, 2025, this five part lesson will be released:
- Part 01: What a Successful Walk Looks Like:
- We know what it doesn't look like (that's why you're here!). Knowing where we are going is essential to getting there!
- Part 02: Adjustments for Young Puppies:
- If you're starting with a puppy younger than 6 months old, there are a few adjustments you need to make.
- Part 03: Choosing Your Walking Gear:
- Collar? Harness? Leash? I'll help you choose what's best for you and your pup.
- Part 04: How to Use Treats for Faster Results:
- We know that treats are a fundamental training tool. You'll learn how and which treats you use can make a big difference.
- Part 05 What's Next?:
- I have some final tips and a preview of what we will be learning over the next three weeks.
Let's get started...
Leash Manners 101: The Program
Each week you'll receive about 5 daily exercises (giving you some wiggle room to practice or rest).
This is where you will learn the skills you need and how to apply them to the real world.
- May 5: Week 1: Build the foundation
- We start with learning "with me" (a.k.a heel) with low distractions. It will act as the foundation of everything else we will learn.
- May 12: Week 2: Practice
- Continue to practice "with me" with mild distractions and new environments.
- May 19: Week 3: Put it together
- Learn and practice different techniques together with "with me". This will give you the tools to handle your most pressing struggles.
And that's not all...
