What is The Dial Method?
The Dial Method is a new way of raising your family dog in a simple, fun, and intuitive way.
When you bring a new puppy home there will always be basic training needs like potty training, leash skills, and basic cues. But there's a piece we need before all of that.
The Dial Method focuses on what the humans (big and little) in the family need to know. It makes this hectic time more manageable and raising your pup more intuitive.
The Dial
There are four points to The Dial each work together:
- See Your Dog:
- Understand who your dog is, what they need from you, and why they do the things they do.
- Parent Your Dog
- Learn how to be your dog's parent and teacher. Guide them through this human world they've found themselves in.
- Teach Your Kids
- Build a strong relationship between your kids and dog based on trust, respect, and fun!
- Create a Plan
- Train your dog without training! Learn how to be proactive and ready for those not-so-fun moments.
What is The Dial Method Workshop?
As a Certified Dial Guide, Debbie will walk you through each point on The Dial. She'll help you apply it to your family and dog.
It's designed for parents with young kids (preteen and younger) who are:
- Preparing for a puppy.
- Recently welcomed a new puppy home.
- Your pup's been home for a while and you need some help.
Note: This is the first time this workshop is being held. Therefore, it's limited to 5 families per workshop and is being offered at a special low price.
What's Included in The Dial Method Workshop:
- 4 weekly 60-minute live sessions with Debbie (via Zoom). We'll walk through The Dial and answer all your questions.
- 40-minute animated video (split into four 10-minute segments).
- E-workbook to apply everything you learn.
- Small class sizes (limit 5) for personalized attention.
- Recordings of each session to rewatch at your convenience.
- Email support between classes.

To Join the Workshop:
You'll Need:
- A basic understanding of Zoom.
- The whole family. Recordings will be available if everyone can't make the live class, but I highly recommend everyone participate in some way so we're all on the same page.*
- Either a printed copy of the e-workbook or have it available on screen at the start of each session.
- Paper and pen to work through the exercises and take notes for all the ah-ha moments you will have!
*This will mimic an online class setting. Younger kids won't be able to focus for the whole 60 minutes. Feel free to let them watch pieces of the recording or teach them the pieces they need to know.
You won't need:
- Your pup. This workshop focuses on the human side of dog training.
- To purchase the book, video, or workbook separately. They are included in the price of the workshop.
- All the answers. We'll find them together as we work through the video and workbook.
- To learn everything at once. Recordings will be available for one year for you to go back to again and again.
